The platform gives you the opportunity to connect with innovative and inspiring employers. Meet the Youngsters originated from the Limburg Magnet project. Limburg Magnet was initiated in 2014 by the Limburg Employers’ Association and is now broadly supported by representatives from the Triple Helix: education, business, and government. Thanks to the support of MKB-Limburg, Keyport 2020, Limburg Economic Development, and LLTB, this project can be made possible. Since the end of 2017, Limburg Magnet and the Brainport2020Career platform have continued under the name Meet the Youngsters.

How does Meet the Youngsters work?

  1. First, you create a personal profile on the platform. You can do this by clicking ‘Start here’ on the homepage.
  2. Complete your profile as thoroughly as possible (for example, include the education you have completed, your work experience, and the fields you are interested in).
  3. Based on your profile, you will be matched with companies that align with your career interests and field of study. So, the more complete your profile, the better your matches will be!
  4. If you are interested in connecting with an employer, you can send them a networking request. A company can also express its interest in you.
  5. If the interest is mutual, you will become part of each other’s network.
  6. From there, you can get in touch with each other and start shaping your career with one of the region’s top employers.
